The Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, established by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and the Canada-Ukraine foundation, provides humanitarian assistance to displaced persons in the form of food and hygiene security, medical care, and emergency shelter. 

If you want to offer volunteer support to help Ukrainian newcomers fleeing the war, connect with local organizations and community groups. There are many ways you can help ease the transition for Ukrainian newcomers who need housing, employment and access to adult learning.  

In addition to giving our money and time, it is important to continue showing solidarity with Ukrainians however we can. Attend peaceful protests, put a flag in your window, wear a blue and yellow ribbon—carry Ukraine in your heart.
